Delete your Family Tree account

You can ask us to delete your Family Tree account and the personal data linked to it at any time.

How to request deletion

Email support@myfamilytrees.in from the email address you use to sign in to Family Tree.
Put Delete my account in the subject line.
We confirm your identity from that email address and delete your account.

We complete deletion within 30 days and email you when it's done.

Your sign-in account (the link to your Google account).
Your own profile in the tree — your name, dates, profession, notes, and the photos on it.
Your app settings and push-notification tokens.

Relatives you added who are not app users. Their profiles stay in the family tree so the tree isn't broken for other members. Any of those people, or their close family, can ask us to remove their data separately using the same email.
Family connections. The parent/child/partner links between people remain, since they are shared with and maintained by other family members.
Diagnostics. Aggregated, non-identifying crash and usage data already collected by Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics.
